Singing the Flower Duet from Lakme with mezzo-soprano Abigail Wright
As you all know from my previous post, I joined forces with mezzo-soprano Abigail Wright and pianist Kyungmi Nam to create Belle Nuit, which we performed on July 12th at The National Opera Center. The concert featured pieces from Les Contes d’Hoffmann, and Carmen, as well as songs for guitar and voice by NYC composer Douglas DaSilva, which included the world premiere of Dulce Et Decorum Est.
Performing Douglas DaSilva’s “You Caress the Night” with Kenji Haba
We had a fantastic time performing, and the audience’s positive and fun energy made the night even more amazing, and we couldn’t have asked for a better audience! Below is a review by Meche Kroop:

We are also excited to announce that there will be another chance to see the concert if you missed it! Stay tuned for details & have a lovely Sunday night!
